Lexie and Gavin have been taking swimming lessons for the last ten weeks. They love to swim and had a lot of fun. They also did great and passed their tests last week! The last day was a family swim day, which we all had a good time.
For his test last week, Gavin had to jump off the diving board and show a few strokes. The preschool group uses some flotation devices.
Gavin also had to swim the whole length of the pool, and he did great!
Lexie's class had several skills tested and she could do front crawl, back stroke, flutter kicks, jump in and push off from the wall and glide, and jump off the diving board and swim the full length of the pool--all without a flotation device! She did great and passed on to the next level.
