Discovery Gateway

Another fun thing we did in Utah was go to Discovery Gateway with Danny's family. The kids loved playing in the fun activities and sensory play centers with their cousins. Lexie was all business getting balls to shoot up through the suction tubes, working with her cousin Dylan and squealing with excitement as they went up. Gavin loved to turn cranks and he also got into delivering vegetables in the tractor from the farm to the grocery store. Gavin and Dylan’s favorite thing was filling up the Jeep with pretend gas and putting air in the tires and working on it. (They take after their motor-head dads, right?!) Gavin was really possessive of the Jeep and didn’t want anybody but his sister or cousins to be able to play on it! The kids had a blast, but wore out kind of early, so we all headed to the food court at the mall for lunch. After our fun cousin outing, I purposely did not plan anything because I had two very worn-out kids on my hands after a fun-filled, jam-packed week! We all had a nice nap!

The kids in the helicopter at Discovery Gateway. There was a button the kids could push to make the helicopter sound like it was taking off. Gavin didn’t know it was just sound effects and wouldn’t go back in the helicopter after he heard it, even after we showed him how it was bound to the building’s roof!
