While Danny was busy studying for finals last Saturday, I took the kids to the Omaha Children's Museum. Santa made an extra special appearance there with the 13 robotic dinosaurs that have been on exhibit the last several months. It was great. Lexie and Gavin were very excited to see Santa, and Nicholas didn't cry! Gavin has changed his wish list several times so far, so now he asked for Batman stuff and a dragon. Lexie has pretty much stuck with wanting the new Barbie and the Diamond Castle dolls and movie for several months. Now if they would just stop fighting, they might get a few things they want!
We had a great time at the museum. We have a membership there, and go often. The kids love having somewhere to run around and play when it's cold outside. Here's Gavin with his favorite T-Rex. He loves dinosaurs, so it had been cool to have this exhibit here for the last while.
We went with our friends, here are Alex, Gavin, Ben and Lexie. This is a good group together and they always have fun. Here they are waiting for the fun holiday light show to begin.
Lexie and Gavin get so into their play and take it seriously. They were very busy in the science area that has gears, vaccuum and air dynamics, etc. They love to put the balls in the tubes and have them go somewhere.
And this chair is a vaccuum-powered lift. They had a great time, and it was fun to se Santa! They are counting down the days until Christmas and can hardly wait for our trip to Utah.
