More Summer Fun

This summer we have enjoyed having a backyard again. We spent a lot of time there while the kids played in the water. We got a lot of use out of the blowup slide and wading pool!Lexie and her cousin Camryn love each other so much and love to play together.
Gavin can come up with lots of creative water games and loves to be wet.
Cole has fun running around with the other kids, too. He has become used to where he can go a bit better and is more careful now towards the end of the summer. (He doesn't take off down the street or run into a random neighbor's yard so much.) And we all enjoy the little table and chairs in the backyard to relax and eat lunch outside. Next year we'll try to get something fun for the kids like a swing set or trampoline. This year they just go to the neighbors' play stuff every day!
The first part of August we got to see some of our old friends from Omaha! It was such a fun reunion for both kids and adults. We had a fun outing to Classic Family Fun Center with loads of activities for everyone. Here is our fun group of 7-year olds, who have been buddies since they were 4! Isaac, Lexie, Annie, and Alex loved seeing each other again and picked up like they had never been apart.
And we have a fun group of 4 and 5 year olds, too. Here are Gavin, Jackson, Ben, (Isaac in the back,) Samantha, Riley, and Ben. Such cute kids! Gavin really misses his buddies, it was great to see them again. While it is wonderful to have a house and be back near family, we will always have our memories of Omaha and the friends we made there.
