We were walking out the door Monday night to deliver Lexie's birthday party invitations when the tornado siren went off. So we turned on the news and went downstairs, just in case. Most of the storm was passing several miles West of us, we just had a spurt of rain and it was windy, just not tornado speed. But it was just enough to make Gavin a bit nervous. I tried to reassure him that we were okay! At least Danny's class let out early and he came home, too. It's just another part of living in the Midwest. (And just the first of many to come this summer!)
