Lexie had this whole week off of school. So we hit the Children's Museum here in Omaha on Monday because the weather was freezing! Lexie really enjoyed herself and had fun doing art projects, getting her face painted, and various other activities.
This is a cool traveling exhibit called "Speed." It's a cool, hands-on way to show about how fast things go. Here are some PowerPuff girls falling through different liquids and you see which goes faster.
There is a fun area for little babies. It is really the first time we have gone in it because Nicholas is now big enough to play there! He loved the big squishy blocks and toys.
Nicholas loves to see himself in the mirror. He always waves hi and gets really happy and excited.
And he is starting to stand up to things. (With help, he hadn't pulled himself up on his own at this point.)
I have the least pictures of Gavin on this day because he wasn't feeling well. He did manage to wear the bat costume (the dress ups are his favorite part,) and drive the fire truck, but he didn't want to do a craft, get his face painted, play with the toys, or eat any lunch. He had a sudden fever hit him while we were there, and then lost his breakfast all over when we got to the car. Poor kid. Luckily it was only a 24-hour thing, but I kept him home from preschool the next day just in case. We will for sure go back to the museum for him, he loves it there.
